DLC-DAQ donut load cell amplifiers & readouts interface concept
Interface concept only; not a product photograph or released manufacturing drawing.

From a bridge signal to the receiving instrument

A PLC overload interlock is a system-level function. A standard sensor / transmitter combination does not establish a safety-rated protective function or a guaranteed capture bandwidth.

Material & configuration evidence

The sensor, cable, amplifier and readout are reviewed as one measurement chain; enclosure and environmental ratings are instrument-specific.

DLC-DAQ configuration decisions

  • Portable readout directions include lbf, kgf and kN displays; distinguish force units from mass-only kg labels.
  • Select a raw mV/V input with a 0–10V or 4–20mA industrial output, or a USB acquisition interface.
  • A factory pairing can include five calibration points. Define ascending / descending points and required uncertainty or traceability documentation.

Verify compression calibration in the intended fixture

Confirm excitation, sensor sensitivity, bridge resistance, cable wiring, electrical isolation, sample rate and end-to-end zero / span after pairing.

Agree rated force, approved drawing revision, excitation, sensitivity, cable / connector pinout and acceptance points before releasing a sample. Request configuration-specific dimensional and calibration records rather than inferring them from a series name.

Where DLC-DAQ fits the assembly

  • Portable bolt clamp-force checks
  • PLC force monitoring inputs
  • Engineering force-versus-time capture

Application examples define a selection direction. They do not establish medical, aerospace or safety-system approval.

DLC-DAQ bore, output and ordering questions

Does a USB interface make any donut load cell plug and play?

Only when the interface, excitation, bridge signal, wiring and calibration data are matched. A configuration-specific paired kit is different from connecting an arbitrary sensor to an adapter.

Which five calibration points are used?

Specify the required sequence and force points in the RFQ. The sensor range and test method determine the appropriate points; the resulting certificate should identify the complete paired chain.
