INDEPENDENT OEM CONFIGURATION COMPARISON
Transducer Techniques donut load cell alternative.
Begin with the full THC model and bore suffix. Resolve the finished center bore, outside diameter, installed height and instrument before selecting a DLC-100 or custom configuration.
Review the original Transducer Techniques configuration ↗Nominal shaft size is not the finished bore.
The original THC documentation distinguishes nominal labels from actual finished IDs. Record the suffix and toleranced drawing dimension; do not machine a replacement to the nominal fraction alone.
Confirm the original 2.00 inch outside-diameter installation and the full option code, then compare the remaining envelope and electrical requirements.
THC suffix reference: actual ID in inches and millimeters
| Original suffix | Finished ID (in) | Finished ID (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| -P | 0.128 in | 3.251 mm |
| -Q | 0.193 in | 4.902 mm |
| -R | 0.266 in | 6.756 mm |
| -S | 0.391 in | 9.931 mm |
| -T | 0.532 in | 13.513 mm |
| -V | 0.656 in | 16.662 mm |
Compare the electrical bridge before reusing the display.
List calibration excitation, sensitivity, zero balance, bridge resistance, wire / pin assignments and the receiving instrument. A matching raw mV/V label is only one item in the comparison.
Approved dimensional and electrical comparisons determine replacement suitability. Original brand names identify the installation under review; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Transducer Techniques fit and instrument questions
Why is the THC bore suffix needed for an alternative review?
The suffix identifies a finished clearance dimension. A nominal fastener size alone does not establish the actual bore, so provide the complete THC model and its current drawing.
Should I reuse the original THC instrument calibration?
Confirm input sensitivity, excitation, bridge resistance and wiring, then recalibrate the complete replacement chain. Stored or shunt calibration data must belong to the approved sensor configuration.
